On Saturday 23rd September Darragh Crowley received the prestigious Naughton Scholarship in Trinity College Dublin. This scholarship is for students who excel in the Leaving Cert STEM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths). Darragh achieved the highest possible grades in his STEM subjects and was one of 36 students in Ireland to become a Naughton Scholar. Darragh was presented with his award by An Taoiseach, Leo Varadkar. Darragh was accompanied by his parents, John and Ann, and his sisters Aine and Nessa, along with his teachers Alan Sheehy (Physics) and Kathleen Dwyer (Chemistry). Darragh is now studying Electrical and Electronic Engineering in UCC. Well done Darragh and we wish you the very best in your future studies.
