"I Wish" Conference 2017

15/2/2017

The Transition Year girls attended this year's "I Wish" conference, which was held in City Hall, Cork. "I Wish" aims to inspire, encourage and motivate young secondary school female students to pursue careers in STEM. The conference consisted of workshops, daily keynotes and engaging talks by women who are at the top of their field in STEM.
The showcase event combined talks and interaction with female role models (superstars and graduates) with interactive exhibition spaces, where companies engaged with the students directly with experiments and demonstrations of what they actually do.
