Community Care 

Community Care is designed to develop empathy, social responsibility, and practical care skills. This programme allows students to engage meaningfully with their local community while learning important life skills.

Objectives

• Understand the importance of volunteering and community service
• Develop skills in supporting others, including older adults and community groups
• Build empathy, teamwork, and communication skills
• Gain awareness of social issues and how to address them positively
• Foster a sense of responsibility and citizenship

Students will: 

• Volunteer with local organisations, community groups, or care facilities
• Plan and participate in community-based projects and initiatives
• Reflect on their experiences through journals, presentations, or portfolios
• Develop practical life skills, including first aid, organisation, and leadership
• Work collaboratively in groups to plan and deliver initiatives that benefit the wider community
