ICDL (International Computer Driving Licence) is an internationally recognised IT qualification designed to give students the skills to use a computer confidently and effectively. Furthermore, ICDL opens up a variety of opportunities through the broad range of skills and is widely recognised by employers as proof of ability and competence when working with IT. All Transition Year students have three ICDL classes per week.
Skills such as collaborating online, working in the cloud, communicating via the web, managing projects and IT security are covered in ICDL, alongside fundamental productivity skills such as working with spreadsheets, documents and presentations. The modular design and online programme allows students to work and their own pace and to become independent learners.
