The Enterprise Programme is a national initiative which aims to foster an enterprise culture among second level students in Ireland. It offers students the opportunity to take a business from the idea stage, through market research to production, selling, record keeping, management and finally to writing a comprehensive report on the activity.

David is the 14th winner of the scholarship and the first from Beara since the scheme was extended with the opening of the credit union’s sub-office in Castletownbere in 2014. The scholarship scheme takes a holistic view, recognising the applicants’ community involvement and career choices as well as their academic results and extra-curricular activities. |
